ID Technologies Inc. announces that it has completed the Mercury Wireless Environment on behalf of Utility Mapping Services (UMS) for the purpose of quality control during field operations of GPS data acquisition. The system includes full scale geo-referencing of digital or scanned maps, integration of acquired GPS data by the Mercury Digital Mapping system, full-scale engineering drawing capabilities, and integration of operator comments, field pictures, and multi-level attachments. The system is connectable wirelessly to the MapBase system (the field operations system for UMS) and ID Technologies' proprietary GIS / Asset Management system.

  ID Technologies completes GIS system
ID Technologies Inc. announces that it's Pakistan division has completed a full-scale ESRI compatible GIS system with full internet accessibility and wireless mapping connectivity. The system provides for multi-layered legacy data geo-referencing and integration to full vector and GPS databases. The GIS system enables instant connectivity with fleet management and field operations management modules via wireless connections. The design philosophy is that of a shared data repository with multiple resident hosts and full-scale internet connectivity as an integrated network of GIS data, and in this regard it is ideal for large-scale operations with remote locations, nation-wide databases, and national asset management infrastructure.
